Kimre™ patented high-performance, interlaced mesh structure has provided revolutionary air pollution control and fluid separation products since 1973. Kimre provides a unique and time-proven technology for capture of liquid and solid particles for all types of process air and gas emissions.
Kimre™ media has proven itself as superior to the tower packing, chevrons, and mesh pads commonly used today in the chemical processing industry. The patented Kimre™ interlaced mesh structure forms a ladder-like arrangement of thermoplastic filaments, forming double-V systems that intersect each other at right angles, providing large surface areas and clog-resistant, void spaces. This means high efficiency separations and low pressure drop with fouling-resistant media that is easy to clean, whether in place or offline.
Kimre can offer a variety of thermoplastic filament materials for continuous service from -320° F to 400° F (-195° C to 204° C). The thermoplastic media eliminates problems associated with corrosion, and the lightweight nature of the media makes it flexible and easy to install, remove, and maintain.
